Water quality is a major concern for gardeners, fishermen and water managers. The water quality of ponds, lakes and other bodies of water is affected by many factors. These factors include the direct influence of the pondkeeper/waterbody manager (usually fishing and other management – intensity of stocking, aquatic planting, etc.), but there are also many factors at work that pondkeepers/waterbody managers can only partially or not at all influence. These factors are mainly old loads (from a period of high intensification of agricultural production – thus much more nutrients enter the aquatic environment than can be effectively transformed) or, for example, fallout from surrounding vegetation. A large part of the nutrients thus generated is deposited in the sediment at the bottom of water bodies. We are aware from experience that correcting such a situation (usually by draining and completely cleaning / dredging the reservoir) is economically and technically very demanding and, moreover, often does not lead to the desired goal. Excessive stress on the aquatic ecosystem then persists despite the measures taken. In some cases, it is even practically impossible to de-water (e.g. hard-to-reach lakes and ponds with high loads).
Biolake Pond Cleaner is a blend of harmless, non-pathogenic, beneficial bacteria and enzymes that serve to activate the natural process of decomposition of organic impurities in aquatic biotopes. The bacteria contained in the product remove nutrients from the algae and thus keep the water crystal clear. The product does not contain any aggressive chemicals – it works on the basis of natural decomposition principles so it does not harm the environment in any way. It does not harm fish or other aquatic animals!
100g of the product is a monthly dose for a biotope of 5-10 m3. In the initial phase, we recommend dividing the amount into several parts and dosing at least once a week.

Mix the required dose of the product in two litres of lukewarm water (approx. 30-40°C) and apply directly into the pond or filtration after 20 minutes.
The microorganisms contained in BIOLAKE were all isolated from the natural environment. They have not been genetically modified in any way. These microbial strains have been classified as harmless to humans, animals and plants. The product has been verified by the State Institute of Health in Prague.
