The products contain selected bacteria and enzymes. They add to or strengthen the microorganisms that break down organic matter in tanks, pipes and treatment plants.
Enzymes break down
They split fats, proteins, starches and cellulose into smaller molecules that bacteria can take up.
Bacteria consume them
They gain energy from them, multiply and create new biomass that keeps on working.
Water and CO₂ remain
With air, decomposition produces carbon dioxide, water and biomass. Without air, simple acids and biogas.
