What it solves
In livestock housing, droppings and urine build up in the bedding. Their breakdown produces ammonia and odour, which worsen conditions for both the animals and the staff.
In practice
Barn for 60 head of cattle: two sprays of the bedding in April 2016; according to the farmer, the barn was free of odour even on hot days.
