BCL WWTP 10
Nitrification support in industrial WWTPs
Active microbial cultures to support ammonia oxidation and restore nitrification in industrial systems.
What it solves
Ammonia is toxic to fish and promotes algal blooms in water. The nitrifying bacteria that convert it grow very slowly and are easily inhibited by industrial chemicals. Lost nitrification takes a long time to recover.
Intended use
- Industrial WWTPs
When it is used
- WWTP start-up
- Re-seeding
- Low sludge age
- Recovery after shock loading
- Ammonia overload
- Reducing emissions to air
- Low temperatures
- Overloaded WWTP

Dosage and implementation
We design the dosage for the specific facility. It usually starts with initial seeding followed by regular maintenance doses. For a proposal we need to know the type of technology, volume or flow and the main problem.
- You describe the facility and the problem you are dealing with.
- We propose the product and the dosing regime.
- We deliver the product and advise you during implementation.
What to consider before use
- Converting ammonia does not by itself remove total nitrogen. Denitrification is also needed for that.
- Requires suitable conditions for nitrification and chilled transport.
We deliver this product to your country with a label in your language, also under your own brand. Packaging and delivery terms will be specified in our offer.
