BCL WWTP 16
Wastewater with vegetable fats and oils
Microbial blend to support the breakdown of vegetable fats and oils in industrial wastewater.
What it solves
Vegetable oils from production settle in channels, pumps, screens and settling tanks. In the aeration tank of the treatment plant, they feed filamentous bacteria (Nocardia) that form a stubborn brown foam on the surface. Oil that passes through the grease trap or flotation unit has to be treated by the plant, increasing its organic load (BOD).
Intended use
- Vegetable oils and fats
When it is used
- WWTP start-up
- Poor settling
- Overloaded WWTP
- Foam from filamentous bacteria (Nocardia)
- Poor effluent quality
- Recovery after shock loading
- Sludge bulking
- Reduced oxygen transfer
- Reduced sludge production

Dosage and implementation
We design the dosage for the specific facility. It usually starts with initial seeding followed by regular maintenance doses. For a proposal we need to know the type of technology, volume or flow and the main problem.
- You describe the facility and the problem you are dealing with.
- We propose the product and the dosing regime.
- We deliver the product and advise you during implementation.
What to consider before use
- We will assess suitability and dosage for your specific facility.
We deliver this product to your country with a label in your language, also under your own brand. Packaging and delivery terms will be specified in our offer.
